Paradise Lost

I did not get
what I expected,
my heart's desire,

Looking up at
blue sky dharmakaya,
I shake my fist,
uselessly.

All my prayers
and devotions
turn to ashes
in my heart.

Gambling, I lost!
With dreams and hopes destroyed,
I wonder why
supplications ever came to mind.

Looking outside
to find something to yell at
Instead I see it's all here
